Nottinghamshire Police Horse Watch

Newark Equestrian has recently joined a new initiative called 'Horse Watch' which has been set up by Nottinghamshire Police.  This community initiative is a partnership between Nottinghamshire Police and horse riders within the community to crack down on rural crime from theft and fly-tipping to poaching and hare-coursing - all of which are key concerns for rural communities.

The aims of the scheme are to improve communications between the rural community, police and other public bodies, creating an easy reporting tool and increasing public confidence.  The objectives of the scheme are to reduce rural crime, increase in road safety and strengthen relationships between the police and the community.

British Dressage - 28 August 2017

Christine and Dannie attended their first British Dressage competition this year at Vale View near Melton Mowbray with BB and Viktor.  Both horses gained good scores in their tests, earned BD points and brought home some frillies.  BB is taking it all in her stride for a 5 year old.  Well done.

Hound Exercise - 2 September 2017

Christine, Emma and Sam spent a beautiful sunny morning out with the Blankney Hunt at Danethorpe, Lincs exercising the hounds.  It was BB's first encounter with hounds and she behaved absolutely perfectly.  Sam did a cracking job on Maggie on his first outing, and Flint thoroughly enjoyed being out with the hounds too!
